Shooting for Scholarships

Each year, the Eastern Ridge Home Builders Association hosts the David G Cook Shooting for Scholarships event in honor of David G Cook, a long-time builder member from Cook’s Construction. This year’s event is scheduled for September 22, 2023 at the Mayville Gun Club.

About the Event

This annual event is a testament to David G. Cook’s legacy and his commitment to the building industry. The event raises money for students pursuing a career in the trades, helping to support the next generation of professionals in the industry. We are proud to continue this tradition and honor David’s memory by supporting students and promoting the importance of trades-related careers. Members and nonmembers are welcome to join us in this worthy cause and help us make a difference in the lives of aspiring tradespeople.

2023 Clay Shoot Info

  • Shoot times start at 9:00 am, running every 15 minutes until 11:45 am at the Mayville Gun Club.
  • Join us for Lunch at 11:00 am and Program & Tribute Beginning at 1:00 pm.
  • Gun Raffle, Bucket Raffles, 50/50 Raffles, and MORE!

Join Us for the 2023 Shooting for Scholarships!

Join us for the 6th Annual Shooting for Scholarships Clay Shoot Event in honor of David G. Cook on Friday, September 22 at the Mayville Gun Club. The cost to participate is just $60 per person or bring a team (up to five shooters) for $350 (which includes a shoot station sponsorship). Your registration includes Lunch, a Drink Ticket, and a Commemorative Event T-Shirt. Register today by completing the registration form and emailing to info@easternridgehba.org or mailing to ERHBA, PO BOX 1181, Fond du Lac, WI 54936-1181.
